Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas presents a certificate honoring the Sienkiewicz Polish School to a delegation from the school. Such schools "honor their heritages and are a source of social richness for our community and our whole society," Pappas said, adding that "A child who has learned a foreign language well has an invaluable tool for the future."
